Here are the Tequila based cocktails I make during my reviews.
The title of the cocktail is linked to the source, since I am by no means a mixologist, and can claim none of these as my own creation.
Please don’t drink and drive, and if you are under 21, do not try this at home… or in public. Always drink responsibly.
The Death Card
1.5 ozs Blanco Tequila
.5 oz Mezcal
2 ozs fresh lime juice
1 oz activated charcoal syrup
1 lime wheel for garnish
Mix the ingredients in a shaker and pour over ice. To me it tasted like limeade. It was ok. Good thing the tequila was barely tasted, since the smell of it provoked a response from my long ago Tequila Hangover.
While tarot is probably a little esoteric for a man of science, it seemed like a good pick for Dead Men Do Tell Tales by Dr. William R Maples and Michael Browning.

Fillmore was all about the compromise, and there was plenty of conflict during his tenure in the White House, so this was the best possible pick for Millard Fillmore: Biography of a President by Robert J. Rayback.
